11.2 How are resources related to geologic structures?

Here we see sulfide minerals along a fault. Hot water, due to igneous intrusions in contact metamorphic zones, dissolves metallic ions out of minerals fairly readily. They too migrate through pore spaces, crystallizing out as the fluid cools.
