- In last Monday's class we studied Earth's interior to understand the internal forces behind earthquakes and volcanoes.
- However, these are not the only by-products of internal motion.
- Currents in the outer core help to generate Earth's magnetic field, which protects all living things from dangerous cosmic radiation.
