Natural gas is one of the principal sources of energy for many activities. Natural gas is colorless, shapeless, and odorless in its pure form. Natural gas is clean and emits lower levels of harmful products. We use natural gas frequently to cook our meals and heat our homes. Natural gas is a fossil fuel like oil and coil. Fossil fuels are the remains of plants, animals, and microorganisms that lived millions of years ago. Natural gas is usually found underneath the surface of earth and it needs to be processed before it can be used as a fuel. Natural gas can come with a variety of compounds and gases, as well as, oil and water; for that reason natural gas needs to be separated from two or more different elements before being distributed through the pipe lines. Natural gas consists mainly of methane and important quantities of ethane, propane, butane, and pentane.

In this picture, we can see a natural gas line leak. The natural gas is difficult to capture on pictures becauase it is colorless and shapeless. In this case, because of the gas pressure on the pipe, the gas natural was captured on the picture.

Location: My kitchen Picture was taken on 9/27/2008 Natural gas is used in residential houses for cooking and heating. Natural gas consumed by households is almost entirely methane. When we burn natural gas, it emits carbon dioxide but in fewer degree than oil and coil.

Gravel is any loose rock that is larger than 1/2 inch and no more than 2 1/2 inches. Gravel is formed as a result of the weathering and erosion of rocks and it is usually found in large deposits. Rivers and waves play an important role in forming large accumulation of gravel. Gravel is an important product that it is used in many applications like driveways, roads, and in many construction applications. When there are not sufficient quantities of gravel for human purposes, gravel is produced by quarrying and crushing hard-wearing rocks, such as sandstone, limestone, or basalt. There are many types of gravel, but I am familiar with crushed rocks and pea gravels. Crushed rock is used heavily in constructions and it is produced by breaking mechanically rocks and filtering through different sizes of mesh. Pea gravel is a small rounded rock that you can find it in natural environments.

Pea gravel is a round gravel about the sizes of peas, it is often used for building driveways, and decorating landscape areas. If you walk on the city, you can find gravel on gardens and construction sites.
